LEXINGTON, Mass. – Complex-event-processing (CEP) technology provider StreamBase Systems Inc. is now certified on the Lime Trading System offered by high-frequency trading agency broker Lime Brokerage.

StreamBase enables connectivity to Lime’s Citrius market data feed and order placement via FIX through its CEP platform. The connectivity will allow StreamBase clients to access Lime’s high-speed execution platform for US equities, derivatives, ETFs, futures and options.

"The StreamBase adapter to Lime Brokerage Citrius market data and FIX engine allows us to seamlessly connect our proprietary trading system to multiple markets for both data and execution,” says Eric Pritchett, CEO of PhaseCapital, a customer of both StreamBase Systems and Lime Brokerage. “StreamBase is a natural fit for implementation to Lime Brokerage because both platforms are highly focused on enabling superior, low-latency market data and trading. The big win from our perspective is to gain from Lime Brokerage capabilities, while shifting application development for dynamic order routing and trade execution to the StreamBase CEP platform.”

StreamBase’s connectivity to Lime will be generally available in an upcoming release of StreamBase in early spring.

“Including Lime Brokerage in the range of connectivity offered via the StreamBase CEP platform provides our customers access to multiple US exchanges and also allows them to take advantage of the high-speed execution platform offered by StreamBase and the Lime Trading System,” says Mark Palmer, CEO of StreamBase. “This announcement demonstrates StreamBase’s continued commitment to providing rapid connectivity options, in this case the Lime Trading System.”
