LONDON – Inter-dealer broker ICAP (symbol IAP.L) will make its real-time data available on enterprise-wide business applications in the Reuters Integrated Data Network (IDN) operated by global information company Reuters (symbols, LSE: RTR; Nasdaq: RTRSY).

Reuters’ customers will be able to use ICAP data that has already been distributed through Reuters IDN, a high-performance network that collects, collates and distributes real-time data, in order to power applications over a range of real-time business activity.

“Today’s professional trading institutions need authoritative real-time pricing to support and satisfy increasingly rigorous risk and portfolio management requirements,” says Antoine Kohler, Managing Director of Information Services at ICAP.

The ICAP offerings available include active US Treasury securities sourced from the electronic BrokerTec platform and other ICAP-sourced government debt and fixed-income products, credit derivatives, energy and commodities, spot foreign exchange, forwards, NDFs and options, interest-rate derivatives and money markets.

“Because ICAP market data is a recognized standard for deal construction, evaluation and settlement pricing, and contributes to leading industry benchmarks across many asset classes and instruments, Reuters IDN customers will derive significant value from its use in key business applications,” says Bill Ruvo, Vice President and Data Feeds Business Manager at Reuters.
