NEW YORK – BT plans to provide connectivity through its Radianz Shared Market Infrastructure to the Chi-X Canada alternative trading system for Toronto Stock Exchange-listed senior equities.

BT’s connectivity arrangement with Chi-X Canada will give its more than 10,500 financial services site users worldwide access to the Chi-X system and its no-cost market data.

“This connectivity arrangement with BT provides market participants with greater choice in how they route orders to and receive pricing information from Chi-X Canada,” says Tal Cohen, Head of Chi-X Canada.

The Radianz Shared Market Infrastructure offers access to market data services and trading applications from about 60 execution venues worldwide.

“Execution venues rely on BT to provide access to the global financial services community, resilient connectivity and scalable capacity,” says Chris Church, Managing Director, Radianz Services, BT Global Financial Services. “By working with BT, Chi-X Canada gains faster access to customers and the opportunity to shift more resources to its core business.”
