ESPEED ADDS LIST GROUP’S FASTTRADE PLATFORM

LONDON – Global trading solutions provider List Group has integrated its multi-asset FastTrade trading platform with BGC Partners’ (BGC) electronic trading platform, eSpeed, for US Treasuries and other international fixed-income and foreign exchange marketplaces. The connection allows clients authorized by BGC Partners to trade directly on BGC’s electronic marketplaces.

“With seamless connectivity to BGC’s eSpeed platform, our clients have greater choice of trading destinations and are able to take advantage of BGC’s global and broker-neutral financial markets to improve their performance,” says Stefano Falciani, Managing Director, List UK.

List Group is joining BGC Partners’ preferred vendor program as part of the integration of the platform, according to Robert Brown, Global Head of eBusiness Integration, BGC Partners, Inc. “The program gives access to our increasing range of electronically traded products,” he says. “BGC offers deep liquidity with over $40 trillion in transactions conducted annually in our US Treasury marketplace.”

FastTrade currently connects to more than 30 electronic markets for equities, bonds, futures, options and repos. Its single interface integrates with external electronic markets, brokers, information sources and internal markets. Its functionality includes market making support, algorithmic trading and risk management.
